We stress to each
family the need in explaining the subject of death to younger children.
This is accomplished by visiting with the children along with books and
videos to help explain what will happen as well as answering questions
they may have at that time. Visiting is done before the children go to
view their loved one or funeral service. We often encourage the children
to tour our facility and take similar steps their parents did in making
the arrangements. To our staff, little children with broken hearts have
very real needs. They have a need for a greater understanding on the
subject of death. We want to help you provide this information to them.
Traditional Full Service of Funeral Home and Staff
This service includes embalming, services of Funeral Director and staff,
embalming, the use of the facilities at our Funeral Home, Church or other
location, the use of the facilities for visitation, the transfer of
remains to the funeral home, committal at Graveside or other location,
thank you cards, memorial register book and memorial folders and the
necessary automotive equipment. Your floral tributes will be displayed.
You are encouraged to bring in photographs and other memorabilia to
further personalize your service.
Graveside Service with Visitation
A graveside service that is held at the burial site is one of several
service options. It also includes the services of the funeral director and
staff, embalming, the use of the facilities for visitation, funeral coach,
thank you cards, memorial register book and memorial folders.
Memorial Service
A personalized memorial service can be held in our Funeral Home Chapel or
a location of your choice.
Traditional Cremation with Rental Casket and Services
Holcombe Funeral Home offers a variety of Cremation Services to fit your
needs. Included are the services of the funeral director and staff,
embalming, use of the facilities and staff for funeral service at our
funeral home, use of the facilities for visitation, rental casket,
cremation container, cremation fee, thank you cards, memorial register
book and memorial folders.
