Russell Jeter Stevens
Union, SC

Mr. Russell Jeter Stevens, age 81, husband of Betty Croxdale Stevens of 103 Bennett Street, Union, SC died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Wallace Thomson Hospital surrounded by his family.

Mr. Stevens was born in Cross Keys, SC, March 10, 1928, a son of the late Clarence Layton "Buck" Stevens and Etelka Jeter Stevens. He was retired from Milliken & Co - Excelsior Plant after fifty years of service. Mr. Stevens was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where he was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class and was a veteran of the US Navy having served in World War II.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Sharon Stevens of the home and Terri Robertson and husband Woody of Union; a granddaughter: Stacey Cochran and husband Chris; a great-granddaughter, Taryn Cochran all of Jonesville; a sister, Freada Robbins of Charlotte and a brother, Ray Stevens of Spartanburg. Mr. Stevens was predeceased by a brother, Layton Stevens.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by Rev. Jim Palmer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Adams, Don Littlejohn and Michael Thompson. Members of Fellowship Sunday School Class are asked to sit in a group.

Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday at the graveside prior to the service.

Jesse Blease "Bunny" Carter
Union, SC

Mr. Jesse Blease "Bunny" Carter, age 50, of 504 Toney Rd. died Thursday June 25, 2009 at his home.

Mr Carter was born in Winnsboro, SC, a son of Mamie Adams Carter of Union and the late James D. Carter. He was a graduate of Union High School and was in the landscaping business. Mr. Carter was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Mamie Adams Carter, are a brother, James Allen Carter of Union; an aunt Joyce B. Ayers of Maggie Valley, NC; special friend, Kathy Parks of Buffalo, SC and his K-9 companion "Champ". Mr. Carter was pre-deceased by 3 brothers; his twin, William Lyles Carter, Charles Randall Carter and David Lawton Carter.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday June 29, 2009 at New Hope Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Johnny Burgess and Dr. Aulbrey Calvert. Burial will follow in Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be: Lynn Clendenin, Michael G."Cotton" Robertson, Reggie Robertson, Eric Haney, Jackie Phipps and James Sinclair. Honorary pallbearers will be: Pete Brock, Larry Burgess, Rodney Lawson, Laddie Henderson, Mike Johnson, Billy Holt, Lisa Hill and Kimberly Grover.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening, June 28, 2009, from 6:00 until 7:30.

Alma England
Formerly of Jonesville

Mrs. Alma Coward England, age 96, formerly of 1423 West Springs Hwy., Jonesville, SC, widow of Albert England died Monday, June 22, 2009 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.

Mrs. England was born in Gaston, AL July 22, 1913, a daughter of the late Bud Coward and Etta Todd Coward. She was a homemaker and first married to the late JC Bramlett. Mrs. England was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are a son, J.L. Bramlett of Union; two grandchildren: Bonnie Brown and husband Dennis of Liberty, West Va and James L. Bramlett, Jr and wife Barbara of Union; eight great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. England was predeceased by two infant sons, six brothers and four sisters and a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Bramlett.

Graveside services will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by Rev. Walter Parham.

The family is at the home of her son, J.L. Bramlett, 100 Excelsior Avenue, Union where they will receive friends. The family will also receive friends 4:00-5:00 PM Thursday at the graveside.

Helen Barnado Lee
Union, S.C.

Mrs. Helen Barnado Lee, age 91, widow of L.V. Lee, Sr. of 415 Barnado Rd., died Monday, June 22, 2009 at the Presbyterian Home in Clinton.

Mrs. Lee was born in Union Co., February 2, 1918, a daughter of the late Albert Samuel Otts Barnado and Susan Evans Barnado. She was a graduate of Presbyterian College class of 1938. A dedicated Union school teacher for 28 years, she taught at Monarch, Foster Park and Excelsior Elementary schools and retired from Union Academy. Mrs. Lee was a life long member of the First Presbyterian Church in Union where she was formerly an active member of the Foster Crawford Sunday School Class, the Ladies Circle #1 and served as Moderator for the Presbyterian Women and on several other church committees. She was a volunteer with the Girl Scout in Union and served as Camping Chairman for a number of years. Mrs. Lee was formerly an active member of the Retired Teacher Association also known as Happy Hearts and the Clemson Extension Homemaker’s Association. She was the sole surviving sibling of her immediate family.

Surviving are a daughter Marilyn Lee of Union; a granddaughter: Ashley H. Maring and husband Robert of Murrell’s Inlet; a grandson: Houston B. Lee of NC; two great-grandchildren: Robert Wade Maring, Jr. And Millicent DeSailles Maring both of Murrell’s Inlet; a special great-niece: Susan B. Bailey of Union and a special great-nephew: Dr. David B. Dedmon of Spartanburg. Mrs. Lee was predeceased by two sons: Bert Samuel Lee and Lewis Verlyn Lee, Jr.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2009, 10:30 AM at Union Memorial Gardens by Rev. Sanders Read. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.

Mrs. Lee will remain at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home until time for the service and the family will be at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 101 W. South St., Union, SC, 29379.

J.R. Tankersley
Buffalo, SC

Mr. J.R. Tankersley, age 83, husband of Ferol Haney Tankersley of 201 Church Street, Buffalo, SC died Friday, June 16, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.

Mr. Tankersley was born in Lee County, Virginia January 11, 1926, a son of the late Charlie Tankersley and Arizona Fleener Tankersley. He retired from United Merchants - Buffalo Plant; a Veteran of the US Army and was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. Mr. Tankersley was an avid gardner who took great pride and joy in his garden. He was first married to the late Sarah O’Shields Tankersley.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a sister, Ruth Threll of Rupert, ID; three brothers: Howard Tankersley of CO, Dale R. Tankersley of Boise, ID and Lloyd Tankersley of ID ; a step-son Barry Haney and wife Susan of Buffalo; four step-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Monday, June 22, 2009 at Buffalo Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Harry Lee Moore, Jr and Rev. Johnny Burgess. Burial will be in Putman Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Felston Ridings, Mark Shetley, Douglas Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Jackie Moore and Joey Riddle.

Visitation will be held 2:00-3:45 PM in the church prior to the service.

Dr. Boyd L. Hames
Union, S.C

Boyd Lemuel Hames, M.D., age 84 of 103 Beechtree Place, Union, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at his home.

A native of Jonesville, S.C., he was born on June 25, 1924, the son of the late William Walter Hames and Lucile Youmans Hames. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School, Wofford College and the Medical College of South Carolina. Dr. Hames served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from June, 1943 until December 1945.

In 1953, Dr. Hames joined Dr. Harold P. Hope in practice of family medicine. They were joined in 1979 by Dr. David Keith. Dr. Hames retired in January, 2001.

He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Union, a member of the American Legion Post # 22, the Union County Medical Society, the South Carolina Medical Society where he was a member of the Infant and Maternal Wellfare Committee, the American Medical Society, and a Fellow and Diplomate of the American Academy of Family Practice. In 1999, he was honored by the Union County Health Department for the many years he had served as a volunteer in its family planning program. The conference room in the facility on Thomas Street was named in honor of Dr. Hames.

Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Anne Ayers Hames and four children: Elizabeth Anne Hames of Charlotte, N.C.; William Walter Hames and his wife Jan, of Austin TX; Joseph Robert Hames and his wife Anne, of McKenzie, TN; and Charles Boyd Hames and his wife, Margaret of Hoboken, NJ; six grandchildren: Charles Wesley Hames and Rebecca Elizabeth Hames of Austin, TX, Katherine Elizabeth Cummings and her husband Corey of McKenzie, TN, Virginia Anne Zasadney and her husband Sam of Pensacola, FL, Holland Garnett Hames of McKenzie, TN, Julia Anne Hames of Hoboken, NJ. He was predeceased by a beloved grandson, William Walter Hames, III. Dr. Hames is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. Henry Irven Madden of Jonesville and Mrs. Albert Cooper Littlejohn of Union.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Grace United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. David Caughman. Burial will be in Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesville.

Nephew will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held 7:00 until 8:30 PM Friday, June 19, 2009 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

Gary Calvin Cromer, Sr.

Mr. Gary Calvin Cromer, Sr., age 70, husband of Ann Canupp Cromer of 268 Askew Circle, Lockhart, SC died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Wallace Thomson Hospital.

Mr. Cromer was born in Newberry County, SC, March 22, 1939, a son of the late John Hilary Cromer, Sr and Sara Bryson Cromer. He retired from Milliken & Company - Lockhart Plant and was a member of Lockhart First Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Cindy Cromer; a son, Gary Calvin Cromer, Jr and wife Beth all of Lockhart; a sister, Kathryn Eaves of Union; a granddaughter, Gabrielle Cromer of Lockhart; step children: Randy Johnson and wife Kaye and Christy Locklear and husband Kerry; step-grandchildren: Dillan Williams, Jameson Johnson, Caleb Keatley and Austin Keatley all of Union. Mr. Cromer was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jean Cromer and a brother, John Hilary Cromer, Jr.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at the Lockhart Cemetery conducted by Rev. Mike Goodwin.

Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Steve Rector
Jonesville, SC

Mr. Jesse Steve Rector, age 52, of 427 Forest Street, Jonesville,SC, widower of Cindy Lipsey Rector, died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at his home.

Mr. Rector was born in Union, SC, January 20, 1957, a son of the late Earl Gault Rector and Avonelle Lipsey Rector. He was employed with Milliken & Company - Monarch Plant and was formerly employed with J.P. Stevens in Jonesville. Mr. Rector was an avid hunter and fisherman and was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are two sons: Jason Rector of the home and Alan Rector and wife Jackie of Union; a grandson, Tyler Rector; three sisters: Vickie Alexander and husband Dean, Tammy Tilley and husband Randy and Jan Cooper and husband Michael all of Jonesville; a brother, Eugene Rector and wife Joyce of Union; a sister-in-law Barbara Haney; a brother-in-law Paul Lipsey both of Union and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Holcombe’s Jonesville Chapel conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb. Burial will be in Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Josh Groves, Rodney Woody, Darrell Roberts, Paul Lipsey, Scotty Wade and David Liner. The employees of Milliken & Company - Monarch Plant are asked to sit in a group.

Kathleen Wilson Tyner
Clinton, SC

Mrs. Kathleen Wilson Tyner, age 88 of 306 Bailey Street, Clinton, SC, widow of Sandy Tyner died Sunday June 14, 2009 at her home.

Mrs. Tyner was born in Whitmire, SC September 11, 1920, a daughter of the late Charlie Martin Bull and Gertrude Sanders Bull. She was a homemaker and a Charter Member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church. Mrs. Tyner was first married to the late Lewis Wilson, Sr. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are five daughters: Sandra (Sam) McCall, Anita (Jayon) McKee all of Clinton, Ima Jean (Mikel) Blackwell of Bradley, SC, Mary Freeman of Clinton and Inez Roberts and husband Ricky of Morganton, NC; three sons: Charles Wilson of the home, Rev. Lewis (Elaine) Wilson, Jr of Clinton and Franklin (Helen) Wilson of Laurens; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great-grandchildren and special friends, Terry and Judy Knight of Clinton. Mrs. Tyner was predeceased by two grandsons, Sam McCall and Donnie McCall; a sister, Josephine Lawson and two brothers, J.D. Bull and Clarence Bull.

Funeral services will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Lighthouse Tabernacle Church on Milan Rd conducted by Rev. Jayon McKee. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton.

Mrs. Tyner will be placed in the church Wednesday where the family will receive friends 1:00-4:00 PM and also from 6:00-9:00 PM.

Wade Sprow
Union, SC

Wade Phillip Sprow, age 20, of Union, formerly of Spartanburg died Friday, June 12, 2009 at his home.

Born March 6, 1989 on Salt Lake City, Utah, he was the son of Carson Wade Sprow of Union, formerly of Spartanburg, and the late Margie Faye Brock. Moving to Spartanburg in 1999, he attended the Spartanburg Day School for five years, was a 2007 graduate of Spartanburg High School, and attended the University of South Carolina-Union. He was a rising Junior at the University of South Carolina-Columbia majoring in Bio-Medical Engineering. Wade worked with his father with International Mortuary Shipping and Sprow Mortuary Services, as well as having designed numerous computer websites.

An avid swimmer and hockey player, he was a member of Temple B’nai Isarel, of Spartanburg.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his step-mother, Gale Plokin Sprow of the home. His paternal grandmother, Connie Conway Williams of Union, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. His maternal step-grandparents, Dr. Paul and Edyth Plokin of Alpharetta, GA. Three step-brothers, Abraham "Avi" Adler and wife, Dorina, of Tampa, FL., Jeremy Adler and Adam Adler, both of Atlanta, GA and his girl friend, Emma Phifer of Woodruff. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard "Dick" Williams in 2008.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 17 at 5 o’clock at the Petty-Bobo funeral Chapel in Spartanburg conducted by Rabbi Yossi Liebowitz and the Reverend Dr. Kirk H. Neely. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be made to The Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605.

Mrs. Flora Bryant Willard, age 85 of 204 Avery Lane, Columbia, SC, formerly of Union, widow of James Paul Willard died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.

Mrs. Willard was born in Murphy, NC June 23, 1923, a daughter of the late Kenny Bryant and Lillie Elders Bryant. She retired from Milliken & Company - Monarch Plant and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Willard was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are a daughter, Marlene Burnett of Columbia; six grandchildren: Phillip Medford, Paul Medford, Darlene Oliver, Jimmy Willard, Jr, Amanda Grady and Scott Willard; twenty great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Willard was predeceased by a son, Jimmy Willard, Sr, a grandson, Eddie Medford, three sisters and nine brothers.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, June 12, 2009 at the SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Gary Byrd. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Shane Grady, T.J. Brown, Adam Waters and Chris Burrell.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home.

Miss Mary Jo Addis, age 70 of 113 C Street, Jonesville, SC died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at her home after a long illness.

Miss Addis was born in Jonesville, SC August 25, 1938, a daughter of the late Ernest P. Addis and Genevieve Belue Addis. She was a member of Jonesville Baptist Church, a homemaker and caregiver to her family.

Surviving are a sister, Peggy A. Burgess and husband Clyde of Union; a special niece, Sue Kendrick and husband Randy; a special cousin, Gayle Horne all of Jonesville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, June 12, 2009 at Jonesville Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ralph Brown. Burial will be in Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Betty DeHart Hewitt Vaughan, age 72, widow of James F. "Booby" Vaughan, Jr. of 502 Seigler Rd., Union, died Saturday, June 6, 2009 at her home.

Mrs. Vaughan was born in Union, June 7, 1936 a daughter of the late Walter M. DeHart and Ruby Wilbanks Holcombe. She was a 1954 graduate of Union High School and retired from Torrington Co. Mrs. Vaughan was a member of Brown’s Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters: Katrina Diane Hewitt and Tammy Elizabeth Hewitt both of Union; a granddaughter: Megan Lee and husband Brooks of Union; two sisters: Joyce D. Lunsford and husband Floyd of Buffalo and Frances D. Hall and husband of Maston of Union; a half sister: Elizabeth DeHart of Columbia; a step sister: Joretta Hyatt of Union and step-mother: Pat DeHart of Union; four grand-dogs: Cupid, Leo, Wrinkles and Deuce. Mrs. Vaughan was predeceased by a son: Frank M. Hewitt, Jr and a brother: Donald DeHart.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Brown’s Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. John Lee and Chaplain Orlando McCauley. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Willie Ray Phillips
Union, S.C.

Mr. Willie Ray "Wild Root" Phillips, age 84, of 111 Adams Lake Rd., widower of Margaret Cody Phillips died Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.

Mr. Phillips was born in Gaffney, November 3, 1924 a son of the late Rosa Maybell Phillips. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School and retired from the S.C. Dept of Corrections. Mr. Phillips joined the Union City Reserve Program in 1982 and retired after 20 years in 1991 from the City of Union Public Safety Dept. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the S.C. National Guard, Union Unit. Mr. Phillips was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.

Mr. Phillips was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Surviving are a special friend with whom he made his home, Nadine D. Smith of Union: two daughters: Lynne Scruggs and husband Paul and Donna Gurganus and husband Steve all of Spartanburg; three grandchildren: Kemper and Derek Gurganus and Sarah Scruggs; one great-grandson: Landon Gurganus and several cousins. Also surviving are his extended family; Sam White, Lora Ann Knox, Destiny and Madison Knox all of Union and Jeremy and William Falls of Sharon.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Monday, June 8, 2009 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.

Active pallbearers will be Brad Bradley, Roger Bailey, Sam White, Freddie Gault, Greg Pickens and Troy Wright.

Members of the City of Union Public Safety Dept., Jack Richburg and Charlie Gill are asked to sit in a group.

Roy Quinn
Union, SC

Mr. Roy Quinn, age 87 of 208 Mill Street, Union, SC, widower of Ruth O’Shields Quinn died Friday, June 5, 2009 at his home.

Mr. Quinn was born in Buffalo, SC August 5, 1921. He was a Veteran of the US Navy having served during World War II. Mr. Quinn was a retired supervisor with the City of Union; a Lifetime Member of VFW, Lifetime Member of Woodman of the World and a member of Post 87 Buffalo American Legion. He was also a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Surviving are three grandchildren: Angela Quinn of Aiken, SC, April Quinn of Barnwell, SC and Amy Quinn of Union; three great-grandchildren: Taylor Quinn, Trevor Owensby and Makayla Owens; a niece, Shirley Dorsey with whom he made his home and a daughter-in-law, Dianne Tedder of Barnwell. Mr. Quinn was predeceased by two sons: Roy James "Junnie" Quinn, Jr and Bobby Quinn.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 8, 2009 at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Union Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 PM Monday at Tabernacle Baptist Church prior to the service.

Kelley Ray Vaughan
Union, SC

Mr. Kelley Ray Vaughan, age 74, husband of Peggy Gunter Vaughan of 636 Kelly Rd., Union, Sc died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Regional Hospice Home, Spartanburg.

Mr. Vaughan was born in Union County, SC July 18, 1934, a son of Ruben Thomas Vaughan and Annie Lee Vaughan Lovelace. He was a Veteran of the US Airforce and was a member of the Salvation Army. Mr. Vaughan was a loving father who cherished his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Peggy Ann Davis of Inman and Rebecca Lance and husband David of Union; two sons: Thomas Vaughan and Nathan Vaughan and wife Amber all of Union; four sisters: Ann Placa of Conn., Doris Brandon of Union, Deannie Toney of Jonesville and Wanda Canupp of Union; nine grandchildren: Autumn, Ashley, Tyler, Rachel, Austin, Morgan, Jazmyn, Tyler B and Lyndsey and a special family friend, Jyl Guessregen.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Salvation Army Citadel in Union conducted by Captain Jason Smith.

Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday evening at the Salvation Army Citadel.

Thomas K. Summers
Union, SC

Mr. Thomas K. "Tom" Summers, age 87, husband of Alice LeMaster Summers of 113 Almac Street, Union, SC passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

A native of Orangeburg County, he was born June 20, 1921, the son of the late Jacob K. Summers and Geraldine Sandel Summers of Branchville, SC. Mr. Summers was a graduate of Branchville High School and later moved to Union where he was employed with the Life Insurance Company of Georgia and retired after thirty-eight years of service. Mr. Summers was an active and devoted member of Grace United Methodist Church where he served in various capacities, among those included membership on the Pastor’s Parish relations Committee, Chairman of Missions and for several years a lay delegate to the SC Methodist Conference, Altar Guild, Brotherhood and others.

Mr. Summers was also an active member of the Culp Wagnon Bible Class where he served as president and a member of the music committee. Later he became a member of the David Clyburn Sunday School Class after the two classes merged. Mr. Summers was a former member of the Union Jaycees and delivered Meals-on-Wheels for many years. Tom loved the out of doors, planting a garden and watching the plants grow. He enjoyed sharing its bounty with friends and family.

Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-nine years are a daughter, Sally Elaine Summers of the home; a sister, Elma S. Hecht of Orangeburg; a brother, Gerald Summers and his wife Shirley of Branchville, SC and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers: Clara Summers, Lucille Jones, Hubert and J.W. Summers all of Orangeburg County.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 5, 2009 at Grace United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. David Caughman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Jake Bonnette, Donald Bonnette, Wray Bonnette, Jerry Summers, Gary Summers, Paul L. Barnett and Mike Nichols. Members of the David Clyburn Sunday School Class are asked to sit in church as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be held 7:00-8:30 PM Thursday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 201 S. Church Street, Union, SC 29379 or to a charity of one’s choice.

The family is at the home, 113 Almac Street, Union.
