Addie Ellison

Mrs. Addie "Annie" Ellison, age 79, passed away, Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Valley Falls Terrace.

Mrs. Ellison was born August 18, 1942, in Honolulu, HI, a daughter of the late James Charles Coley and Gertrude Anderson Coley.  She was a retired caregiver.  Mrs. Ellison was a member of Bethany Christian Church in Ashland, VA.  She loved her cat.

Surviving are a son, Rolph E. Toney and wife Vicki of Buffalo; two brothers, Leon Albert Coley and wife Patricia of Fayetteville and Stephen Hill Coley of Bumass, VA; four grandchildren, Frank E. Toney and wife Ashley, Magen M. Barber, Jessica T. Lawson and husband Chad, and Christopher Lee and wife Sybil; twenty seven great-grandchildren;  and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Penny Rice and her daughter Rachel Rice.  She predeceased by a special sister-in-law, Nellie Ellison.

The family will have a gathering of friends and family Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2022, at the home of her granddaughter, Jessica and Chad Lawson, 809 Meadow Woods Rd., Buffalo, SC 29321.
