Albert Jerry Moore

Mr. Albert Jerry Moore, Sr., age 80, of Riverview FL, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Life Path Hospice Home in Ruskin, FL.

Mr. was born in Union, September 14, 1941 a son of the late Jasper Jones Moore, Jr. and Sarah Margaret Furr Moore. He was retired from the US Navy having served as a mechanic and after his military service made his home in Florida.

Surviving are a daughter, Deborah "Beth" Claridge of Georgia; a son, Albert Jerry Moore, Jr. of Virginia; a special "adopted" daughter, Christine Betty of Florida; grandchildren, Jessica Reiter and husband Tripp, Neely Claridge, Tracey Fernandez and husband Daniel all of Georgia, Brandon Claridge and wife Olivia of Utah, Liberty Moore of West Virginia; Angelina Betty, Armando Betty, Alejandro Betty and Aldriano Betty all of Florida. Great-grandchildren are, TJ Reiter, Evelyn Reiter, Noah Fernandez all of Georgia. A special nephew, Ralph Lancaster and wife Judy of Union; a special uncle, Colon Duckett of Union. Predeceased by two sons Joseph Alan Moore and Robert Eric Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Morningside Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Andrew Austin. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 until 4:00 PM Saturday at the church at the church prior to the service.

The family will be at the home of his nephew, Ralph and Judy Lancaster, 108 Lancaster Dr., Union.
