Alda Ray Jolly

Mrs. Alda Ray Perkins Jolly, age 79, wife of Bobby Joe Jolly of 121 Grant Rd., Union, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Jolly was born in Mt. Holly, NC January 26, 1936, a daughter of the late Lewis Perkins and Ibera Marshall Perkins. She retired from Her Majesty and was a member of Lower Fairforest Baptist Church. Mrs. Jolly was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters: Cherie Bumgardner, Sandra Owens and husband Gary all of Union and Tina Adams and husband David of Lake Wylie; two sons: Tommy Wheeler and wife Connie of Clover and Robert Wheeler of Georgia; a sister, Rose Riding of Mt. Holly, NC; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Lower Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Jim Cunningham. Visitation will be held in the church fellowship hall immediately following the graveside service. Memorials may be made to Lower Fairforest Baptist Church, 125 Lower Fairforest Baptist Church Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home, 121 Grant Rd., Union.
