September 15, 2018 Amber Dawn Millwood Lee, age 61, formerly of Union, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 14, 2018. She was a loving mother, sister and fiancée. She was born in Union, July 18, 1957 a daughter of Henry "Bud" Millwood and wife Patty of Union and the late Carole Wilson Millwood. She was a 1975 graduate of Union High School and received her Bachelor's degree from Wofford College in 1979. Dawn served as the manager of the family business, The Café, in Jonesville. She was a member of a Pokeeno group and an avid animal lover. Surviving are a daughter, Sarah Lee of Charlotte, NC and a son, Charles Lee also of Charlotte; her fiancé, John Stewart of Gastonia, NC; a sister, Tammy Moore and husband Mike of Union; two brothers, Todd Millwood and Hank Millwood both of Spartanburg; two step-sisters, Cindy Caldwell of Union and Crystal Grady of Cross Keys; several nieces and nephews and two fur babies Chloe and Buddy. She was predeceased by a step-brother, Homer Anderson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Greater Union Church conducted by the Rev. Roger Estes. The Pokeeno Girls and the employees of The Café are asked to sit in a group. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
