Amy Quinn Sumner

Mrs. Amy Quinn Sumner, age 55, wife of Donnie Sumner, of 103 Fairmont St., Union, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Mrs. Sumner was born September 26, 1970, in Spartanburg, SC, a daughter of the late Roy Junie Quinn and Emily Mullinax Quinn. She was a graduate of Union High School and received an Associates Degree from USC Union. Mrs. Sumner had worked at Wallace Thomson Hospital as a Phlebotomist and Lab Tech. She was a member of Glory Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Donnie, are a daughter, Taylor Quinn of Union, a son, Trevor Owenby of York, grandchildren, Anderson, Kylie, Teagan and Emerie, stepchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Emiley, Chase, and William. She is also survived by 7 step grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mrs. Sumner also leaves behind her beloved pets, Piper, Boi, Lulu and Ernie.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM, Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel, conducted by Donnie Sumner. Visitation will follow the service.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Taylor Quinn, 125 Lowry St., Union, SC 29379.
