Angela Farr Childers

Mrs. Angela Farr Childers, age 79, devoted wife of Ret. A.F. Chief Virgil Childers, of 849 Bob Little Rd., Jonesville, went to rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Pacifica Skylan.

Mrs. Childers was born December 10, 1942, in Union, a daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Wesley Farr and Cora Trent Farr.  She was a graduate of Gaffney High School and was a Domestic Engineer.  Mrs. Childers was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 56 years are a daughter, Chera Stapleton and husband John of Union; a sister, Ann Wilbanks; two grandchildren, Christopher Stapleton and wife Eva of Chapin and Brandon Stapleton and fiancée Alesha of Enoree; and four great-grandchildren, Cooper Stapleton, Fendley Stapleton, Karson Stapleton, and Jacob Daniel Stapleton.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Mr. Chad Ponder.  Visitation will be held immediately following the services at the Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Epworth Children's Home, P.O. Box 50466, Columbia, SC 29250.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Chera and John Stapleton, 104 Park Dr., Union, SC 29379.
