June 10, 2019 Mrs. Ann Treadway Lancaster, age 83, of 499 Gist Bridge Rd., Buffalo, widow of Thomas Bruce Lancaster, Sr., passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Lancaster was born October 23, 1935 in Union, a daughter of the late Curtis Stephen Treadway, Sr. and Pauline Walker Treadway. She was a graduate of Union High School and Cecil's Business College. Mrs. Lancaster retired from the Union County Auditor's Office. She was a member of Bogansville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lancaster was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are a daughter, Betty Roark and husband Steve of Buffalo; two sons, Tommy Lancaster and wife Audrey of Buffalo and Michael Lancaster and wife Cathy of Inman; four grandchildren, Tara Shetley and husband David of Union, Adam Roark and wife Ashley of Spartanburg, Brandi Bennett and husband Blake of Inman, and Cameron Lancaster and wife Jacque of Tryon; and six great-grandchildren, Polly Turner and husband Brandon, Mahlon Shetley, Gavin Bennett, Addison Bennett, Ayden Roark, and Ansley Roark. She was predeceased by five brothers. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Bogansville United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Dr. Martha Toney. Active pallbearers will be Neil Gregory, Kirk Winburn, Phillip Gallman, Blake Bennett, Adam Roark, and Cameron Lancaster. The following are asked to serve as the honorary escort, Rickey Cooksey, Don Shetley, William Vaughan, and Mickey Cranford. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM prior to the services at the church. The family would like to thank Crescent Hospice for the love and care shown to Mrs. Lancaster.
