Mrs. Patricia Ann Adair O’Shields, age 74, wife of Lewis O’Shields of 814 Webber Lake Rd., Union, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
Mrs. O’Shields was born in Spartanburg May 13, 1952, a daughter of the late Willis and Mildred Varner Adair. She was a graduate of Dorman High School and had retired from CPE Industries. Mrs. O’Shields was a member of the Benevolent Patriotic Order of Does, Union Drove #148 and was a member of Philippi Baptist Church.
“Mother Ann” was loved by so many people. She was famously known for her delicious food, especially her chicken salad and pimento cheese. She was the matriarch of the family and always put the needs of others before her own. She truly loved her family and thought of their needs right to the very end. She was at peace with her diagnosis and said, “I have the Lord and the Lord has me.” Her positive nature was an inspiration to all she encountered.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Nikki Abee and husband Chris of Union; a sister, Bonnie Wines and a brother, Edward “Pete” Adair. She is also survived by grandchildren, Paige Parkins (Ian Von Hollen), Cameron Abee (Hannah), Jesse Abee Bobo (Dustin), and Trey Abee; great-grandchildren, Kingston Von Hollen, Avorie Bobo, Hutsen Bobo and Ben Inabinet and her special friend and sister-in-law, Margie Humphries that she always called “My Margie”. She was predeceased by two sons, Kevin Sean O’Shields and Michael Lewis O’Shields, a sister, Brenda Medley and a brother, James “Teensie” Adair.
