Anna Marie Roark

Mrs. Anna Marie Bailey Roark, age 83, widow of Lewis Roark, of 117 Lake Dr., Union, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Roark was born in Union, August 16, 1940, a daughter of the late Jesse and Colene Estes Bailey. She was a graduate of Union High School and a devoted homemaker. Mrs. Roark was a member of Oakland Road Missionary Baptist Church where she served as pianist for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are a daughter, Sheila Bly (Kenny); two sons, Timothy Roark and Mason Roark (Kaye) all of Union; and a brother, Raymond Bailey of Virginia. She is also survived by grandchildren, Caleb Roark (Christine), Seth Roark (Maja), Chancellor Roark, Ariel Johnson (Zack), Alexis Roark (Logan) and Nevaeh Roark; great-grandchildren, Daniella, Ansli, Tyson, Bella, Chandler, and Landen, and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was predeceased by two sisters, Alice Bailey and Frances Hindman.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Union Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Roark will be at the funeral home where those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Wednesday from 12:00 until 5:00 PM and Thursday from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM.

The family will be at their respective homes.
