December 15, 2017 Mrs. Anne Little Adams, age 86, of 320 Santuc Dr., Union, widow of Joe F. "Babe" Adams, Sr., passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center. Mrs. Adams was born June 7, 1931 in Kelton a daughter of the late W.J. Little and Grace Kitchens Little. She was a graduate of Kelly Pinckney High School and attended Winthrop College. Mrs. Adams retired as Payroll Clerk with the Union County School District. Mrs. Adams was a member of Salem Baptist Church where she served as the Church Clerk for over 30 years and was a member of the WMU. She also served on the Board of the Union County Election Commission. Mrs. Adams left behind a legacy of strong faith in the Lord. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose favorite past time was cooking and rocking her babies. Surviving are three daughters, Debbie O'Daniel, Carol Petty, and Beth McDonald and husband Joe all of Santuck; one daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Adams Cabaniss of Union; four grandchildren, Katie O'Daniel Haney and husband Stephen, Joe F. Adams, III and wife Julia, Adam Petty and wife Brittany, and Courtney Petty; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Alan Little and wife Joan of Jonesville; one brother-in-law, Kedrick Garner; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Joe F. Adams, Jr. and three sisters, Jean Garner, Gloria Barnette, and Rebecca Garner. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, December 18, 2017 at Salem Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Jim Wiseman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be John Garner, Jake Black, Paul Little Barnette, Tyler Crocker, Todd Little, and Bill Garner. Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Adams' caregivers, Kim Gregory, Jennifer Adams, Melinda Sorrow, her nurse, Julia Adams and the Staff of MSA Hospice. Memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 1835 Tinker Creek Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home, 320 Santuc Dr., Union, SC 29379.
