Mrs. Annett Waldrop Jackson, age 81, wife of Bond “BJ” Jackson of Union, passed away Sunday July 5, 2026 at Woodruff Manor.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Whitmire, March 10, 1945, a daughter of the late Burness Clyde Waldrop and Leila Smith Waldrop. She was a graduate of Whitmire High School and had formerly worked at Caper House and Threads in Whitmire. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed thrifting and cooking. Mrs. Jackson also loved to dance. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Teresa Holland Arrowood and husband Tracy of Greenwood, and Amber Dell Jackson of Union; two sons, Kelvin Lee Holland of Spartanburg, and Paul Bert Wootten and wife Amy of Arkansas; two grandchildren, Cassandra Holland and Harley Manning; four great grandchildren, Kinsley Jansen, Lilly Manning, Eve Manning and Jasper Tillman; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 until 4:00 PM Thursday at the chapel prior to the services.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family will be at their respective homes.
