Annette Corder Bodie

April 9 , 2015 Mrs. Annette Corder Bodie, age 54, wife of Clay Bodie, of 162 Prather Street, Whitmire, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Bodie was born in Whitmire, SC on May 17, 1960 a daughter of the late William Ernest "Bill" Corder and Juanita Ruth Wallen Corder. She was currently employed with Thomas' Grocery and Grill and had formerly worked with Renfro. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, April Bodie and husband Kevin of Pomaria; a son, Daniel Bodie and wife Rebecca, of Whitmire; a sister Elaine Bryant of Whitmire; two grandchildren, Dakota Bodie and Chase Bodie and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bodie was predeceased by two brothers, Roger Dale Corder and David Wayne Corder. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Travis King and Rev. Todd Johnson. Burial will follow at Whitmire Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Saturday evening at Grace Baptist Church. The family will be at the home of her mother-in-law, Brenda Bodie, 192 Sims St., Whitmire, SC. Memorials may be made to the Annette C. Bodie Fund, PO Box 293, Union, SC 29379.
