Arthur Caldwell Harmon

Mr. Arthur Caldwell Harmon, age 78, husband of Patricia Ann Robinson Harmon of 526 Mount Vernon Road, Union, SC passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at Hospice House of Laurens County. Mr. Harmon was born in Union, SC December 7, 1935, a son of the late Dewey Caldwell Harmon and Marie Starns Harmon. He was a graduate of Union High School and retired as manager of Executive Knits. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: LaShelle Adams Limehouse of Goose Creek and Lisa Harmon Dunaway of Boiling Springs; two sons: Terry Wayne Harmon of Spartanburg and Arty Harmon of Pauline; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two nieces. Mr. Harmon was predeceased by a sister, Virginia "Jennie" Happerfield and a grandson, Troy Harmon. A Memorial Graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. John Cribb and Rev. Donna Stroud. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity United Methodist Church, 206 Hart Street, Union, SC 29379 or The American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615. The family will be at their respective homes.
