Arthur C. Harmon, Pauline, Sc Jr.

Mr. Arthur C. "Arty" Harmon, Jr , age 54, husband of Pamela Black Harmon of 114 Blackstock Rd., Pauline, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. Mr. Harmon was born in Union, SC August 31, 1959, a son of Kay Fisher Hopson of Spartanburg and the late Arthur C. Harmon, Sr. He was a graduate of Union High School and had attended Spartanburg Methodist College, USCS and Clemson. He was a construction worker and was a loving and dedicated son, husband, and father. Surviving in addition to his wife are five daughters: Ashley Harmon of Jonesville, Alyson Harmon, EmmaJean Harmon, Danica Harmon all of Pauline and Kaylyn Ellis of Pacolet; a sister, Lisa Dunaway; a brother, Terry Harmon and Shannon Fleming all of Spartanburg and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr.Harmon was first married to Sherrie Mason Harmon of Jonesville. He was predeceased by a son, Troy Harmon. A Memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Solid Rock Church in Spartanburg conducted by Pastor Randy Lewis. Visitation will be held 2:00-2:45 PM Saturday in the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Arty Harmon Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home, 114 Blackstock Rd., Pauline, SC 29374.
