Ashley Elizabeth Smith

Miss Ashley Elizabeth Smith, age 21, of 608 N. Pinckney St., Union, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at her home. Miss Smith was born in Spartanburg, SC a daughter of Deana Walls Smith and boyfriend, Smiley Howell and the late Timothy Lee Smith. She was employed as a waitress at Waffle House and was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her mother are one daughter Hailee Mitchell of the home; one brother, Timothy Blake Smith of Oklahoma; and her maternal grandmother, Margie Ashe of Union. Funerals services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 5, 2016 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Paul Childers and friend Leslie Lowe. The family will receive friends following the services. Memorials may be made to the Union County Sheriff's Office, C/O Drug Prevention Program, 210 W. Main St., Union, SC 29379.
