Aubrey Lynn Faucett

Mr. Aubrey Lynn Faucett, age 76, of 1208 W. Main St., Union, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at Provident Hospital in Columbia after years of declining health. Mr. Faucett was born in Union, February 12, 1939, a son of the late Norman W. Faucett and Helen Estelle Going Faucett. He was a 1958 graduate of Jonesville High School and attended Spartanburg Technical College. Mr. Faucett was retired from Cone Mill, Carlisle Finishing and was formerly employed with Milliken Co., having worked at the Monarch Plant, Lockhart Plant and Milliken Research in Spartanburg. A veteran of the US Army, Mr. Faucett was also a member of the S.C. National Guard and the American Legion. He was a member at Foster's Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving are his former wife of 47 years, Alma P. Faucett of Union, a son, Tracey L. Faucett, Sr. and wife Pam of Union; a sister, Margie F. Robinson of Jonesville; two brothers, William "Billy" Faucett and wife Connie of North Augusta and Fred Faucett and wife Doris of Jonesville; a granddaughter, Morgan Chase Faucett and a grandson, Tracey "Trace" L. Faucett, II both of Union, and his beloved pets, Tinker and Brownie. Mr. Faucett was predeceased by two sisters, Evelyn F. Garner and Shirley F. Sanders and a brother, James "Jimmy" Faucett. Private services have been scheduled by the family. The family will be at their respective homes.
