Ava B. Kingsmore

Mrs. Ava Nell Barrett Kingsmore, age 84 of Taylors, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Prisma Health-Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Kingsmore was born in Rabun Gap, GA, October 25, 1939, a daughter of the late George Hubert Barrett and Lenora Edith Edney Barrett. She attended Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Greenville.

Mrs. Kingsmore is survived by her former husband Bruce Kingsmore of Greenville; a daughter, Karin Collins also of Greenville and a son, David Kingsmore of Buffalo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kingsmore was predeceased by a sister, Edna Jean Cox and two brothers, Lowell Barrett and Landreth Barrett.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Putman Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Lee Franklin.

The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.
