Barbara (Fowler) Garner

Mrs. Barbara Fowler Garner, age 77, of 138 Woodhaven Dr., Union, widow of Walter Hope Garner, went to be with the Lord, Monday, September 29, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Garner was born June 17, 1948 in Pacolet, a daughter of the late Donald Ray Fowler and Margie Garner Fowler.  She was a graduate of Pacolet High School.  Mrs. Garner was a member of First Baptist Church Union.  She was an avid sports fan and loved the Atlanta Braves.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna Sinclair and husband Mitch of Union; a sister, Joyce Ritch of Spartanburg; three sisters-in-law, Joyce Parris and husband Mike of Union, Kathy Sappington and husband Ronnie of Olive Branch, MS, and Debra Fowler of Batesburg Leesville; a brother-in-law, Alvin Garner and wife Gail of Lake Wylie; two grandchildren, Josh Sinclair and Kayla Sinclair; and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Fowler.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 2, 2025 at First Baptist Church Chapel Union conducted by the Rev. Robbie Stollger and Rev. Bob Cato.  Burial will follow at Pacolet Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Mrs. Garner's Nephews.  Honorary pallbearer will be Eddie Kelly.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the Church.
