Barbara Jean Jackson

Mrs. Barbara Jean Jackson, age 61, of 322 Mill St., Lockhart, wife of Bobby Jackson, Jr., passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at her home.

Mrs. Jackson was born May 4, 1964, in Union, a daughter of the late Jack Brown and Lucille Austin Brown. She was a graduate of Union High School and before her illness, she worked in textiles for Springfield Fabrics of Gaffney SC. Mrs. Jackson was a faithful member of Lockhart First Baptist Church. She loved her church, her family and loved to cook.

In addition to her husband, Bobby, Mrs. Jackson is survived by daughters, Stephanie Strong and her husband, Phillip, of Lockhart and Wendy West of Union. She is also survived by grandchildren, Brittany Hernandez and husband Jose, Madyson West and boyfriend Austin Morgan, Nick Strong and Mary Santibanez and husband Nino and great grandchildren, Marcos Santibanez and Lucus Santibanez. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jackson was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Robertson.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday February 14, 2026 at Lockhart First Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Justin Ford. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the church.
