Mrs. Barbara Blackwell Lamb, age 77, wife of Ronnie Lamb of 112 Old Cemetery Rd., Union, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Lamb was born in Union, June 21, 1945, a daughter of the late Ralph E. Blackwell and Geneva Harris Blackwell. She was retired from Sonoco Products and was a member of Brown's Creek Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday School teacher. Barbara was a wonderful, loving mother who raised her children in church faithfully.  She loved spending time with her family and watching her grandkids play. She was a devoted SC Gamecocks fan. Barbara loved the Lord and her church family.  She enjoyed baking sweet treats for her family and church functions.  Barbara was a phenomenal wife, mother, and nanny who was loved beyond measure and will be greatly missed.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 23 years, Ronnie, is a daughter, Margaret White Perlich and husband Dominic of Lexington; two sons, Rodney White and wife Sherry of Chapin and Ron Lamb and wife Linda of Union; two sisters, Betty Jane Gault of Roebuck and Doris Faucett of Jonesville; six grandchildren, Kevin White, Brooke Carter, Phillip Carter, Paige Brunson, R.J. Perlich and Blake Wilson; nine great-grandchildren, Christian White, Skylar White, Hampton White, Cade Perlich, Carson Perlich, Montgomery Perlich, Mason Brunson, Mila Brunson and Brantli Wilson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lamb was predeceased by a daughter, Wanda White Carter, a grandson, Dustin White, a sister, Judy Dixon and a brother, Jimmy Dean Blackwell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2023 at Brown's Creek Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Shawn Head. Visitation will be held from Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the services. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Byrd Ivey, Curtis Plexico, R.J. Perlich, Joey Blackwell, Jim Gault and Robbie Faucett.

Memorials may be made to Brown's Creek Baptist Church, 118 Brown's Creek Church Rd., Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home, 112 Old Cemetery Rd., Union.
