Barbara Ann Silvers Pridmore

Mrs. Barbara Ann Silvers Pridemore, age 73, of 3008 Whitmire Highway, Union, widow of Robert G. Pridemore, Sr., went to her Heavenly home Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Pridemore was born in Union, SC October 13, 1943 a daughter of the late Frank Silvers and Mary Cope Silvers. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Cone Mill Carlisle Finishing Plant after 30 years of service. Mrs. Pridemore was an active member of Hebron Baptist Church where she served on several committees over the years. She was a member Broad River Electrical Co-Op Committee and was very devoted to the Union County Relay for Life. Surviving are two sons, Robert G. Pridemore, Jr. and wife Christine of Union and Todd E. Pridemore and wife Dawn of Olivebranch, MS; two sisters, Michelle McLeod and husband Stanley of Greenville and Vicki Grady and husband Robert of Union; one brother, Gary Silvers and wife Minnie of Union; five grandchildren, Cassidy Pridemore, Alex Pridemore and fiancée Annie Willard, Marla P. Vinson and husband Adam, Joshua Pridemore and wife Tiffany, and Brittany P. Kelley and husband Jeff; and three great-grandchildren, Natalie Kate Pridemore, Aspyn Rane Pridemore, and Adelyn Grace Vinson. Mrs. Pridemore is predeceased by two brothers, George Silvers and Kenneth Silvers. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Hebron Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Brian Childers. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Joshua Pridemore, Alex Pridemore, Jeff Kelley, Adam Vinson, Cam McLeod, and Tyler McLeod. Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
