Barbara Ann Tucker Roberson

May 25, 2015 Mrs. Barbara Ann Tucker Roberson, age 67, wife of Claude Roberson, Jr. of 850 Forest Street, Jonesville, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Roberson was born in Union, SC September 9, 1947, a daughter of the late John Pittman and Virginia Holt Tucker. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and had attended Cecil's Business College. Mrs. Roberson was retired from Walmart and was a member of Oakbrook Community Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband of forty-eight years are a son John Michael "Mike" Roberson and wife Kristie of Jonesville; a granddaughter, Graceanna Roberson and another granddaughter on the way, Maggie Elisabeth Roberson; a special grand-dog, "Dapper", a number of cousins including, Donald Ray Kingsmore of Union, Danny Holt and wife Karen, Jerri Ann Palmer and husband Sid all of Jonesville and Rhonda Ingle of Union. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Oakbrook Community Church conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess. Burial will be in Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Matt Cunningham, Jason Fowler, Craig Horne, James Holt, Edward Wilkins and Gregg Fowler. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel.
