Ben Ryan Black, Iii

Mr. Ben "Ryan" Black, III, age 76 of 102 N. Boyce St., Union, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mr. Black was born in Union, February 5, 1949 a son of the late Ben R. Black, Jr. and Helen Youngblood Black. He was a graduate of Union High School and the University of South Carolina. Mr. Black was retired from Lowe's and was a veteran of the US Air Force.

Surviving are a sister, Vickie Sloan; a brother, Ken Black and wife Tami all of Union; three nephews, Josh Black and wife Katie of Laurens, Taylor Black and wife Drew of Liberty and Thomas Paul Sloan of Union; a niece, Emily Black of Boiling Springs and a large extended family in South Carolina and Florida.

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
