Bert Dwayne Gibson

Mr. Bert Dwayne Gibson, age 51, of 607 Gaffney Hwy., Jonesville, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Gibson was born in Gaffney, December 3, 1971 a son of Peggy Horne Hammett and Jerry Wayne Gibson both of Pacolet. He had worked as an auto mechanic until his health declined.

Surviving in addition to his mother and father are a son, Anthony Gibson and wife, Ashleigh Brock of the home; a sister, Kimberly Michelle Perry of Gaffney; a brother, Jerry Lee Gibson of Pacolet and one grandson, Bowen Wayne Gibson. Mr. Gibson was predeceased by a brother, John Wayne Gibson.

The family wishes to say a special Thank You to the staff and nurses of Spartanburg Medical Center and Home Health for their care of Mr. Gibson during his illness.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Morningstar Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Michael Rochester. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
