Betty Jo (Brooks) Warren

January 10, 1935 — March 16, 2024

Union, SC

Mrs. Betty Jo Brooks Warren, age 89, widow of Bobby Eugene Warren, of 941 Old Pump Station Rd., Union, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Warren was born January 10, 1935, a daughter of the late Fuller Brooks and Arzie Martin Burns.  She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Conso products co. and later worked for Ellen Sagar Nursing home. Mrs. Warren was a devoted member of New Life Baptist Church.

Surviving are her loving daughters, Patti W. Millwood, Janet W. Jennings and husband Jack, Sandi LuAnn W. Adkins and husband Barry and Jolen W. Brannon and husband Michael all of Union; two brothers, Gerome Brooks and wife Evelyn of Jonesville and Lancy Burns of New Jersey; a sister Dianne Vanderford and husband Johnny of Union;

Grandchildren, Traci, Drake and Jeffery Millwood and fiancé Kelly Stepp, Shelley Lawson and husband Michael, Shanna Bailey, Angela Mattox, Cody Adkins, Jennifer Dolquist, Mike Brannon and wife Nicole;

Great Grandchildren, Dylan Millwood, Candace Wright, Leah Whitmore, Lacey, Amanda, Emily and Marissa Millwood, Madison Vinson, Jamie, Brianna and Carissa Mattox, Jonathan and Chris Lawson and wife Cheyenne, Dustin Cromer and wife Madison, Ally Sanford, Bella Arnold, Summer and Tyler Haney, Jacoby and Hailey Castle, Raelynn and Micah Brannon; and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Warren was predeceased by a brother, Timmy Burns and three grandsons, Shane Millwood, David Bailey and Mikie Brannon.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at New Life Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Shannon Faulkner and Rev. Scott Cobb. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Michael Lawson, Jonathan Lawson, Chris Lawson, Dustin Cromer, Cody Adkins, Clint Bailey and Jacoby Castle.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the church.

The family will be at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Jack Jennings, 169 Magner Dr., Union, SC 29379.
