Betty Jean Burgess Wilson

Mrs. Betty Jean Burgess Wilson, age 88, of B St., Jonesville, widow of Walter Wilson, Jr., passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Union, April 10, 1933, a daughter of the late Albert and Virgie Fowler Burgess. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Wilson was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Wilson of Monroe, MI and Beverly Halliday of Lewiston, MI; two brothers, Donnie Burgess of Jonesville and Wayne Burgess of Union, four grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by a brother, Albert Wilson, Jr. and two sisters, Shirley Wilkins and Mary Jo Carter.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Jonesville Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess.

The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.
