Betty M. Fowler

Mrs. Betty Millwood Fowler, age 92 of Forest St., Jonesville, widow of Grady Cole Fowler, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mrs. Fowler was born in Jonesville, April 22, 1931, a daughter of the late Clarence A. Millwood and Corrie Patterson Millwood. She retired from Hamricks and was formerly employed with J.P. Stevens in Jonesville. Mrs. Fowler was of the Methodist faith. She was first married to the late Marion Lee.

Surviving are a daughter, Amy Henderson and husband Chad of Spartanburg; a son, Ronald Fowler of the home; and three brothers, Hubert Millwood and David Millwood both of Jonesville and Thomas Millwood of California. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Reagan Henderson and Leland Fowler, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fowler was predeceased by three sisters, Ella Mae Dills, Pearl Wynn, and Mamie Roberson, and a brother, Ernest Millwood.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 11, 2024 at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Merritt Wentz.

The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.
