May 31, 2016 Mrs. Betty Bush Gresham, age 72 of Union, widow of Jerry Gresham, left her earthly home Monday, May 30, 2016. Born in Prosperity, SC January 5, 1944, a daughter of the late Ransom S. and Ophelia Gray Bush. She retired from Stouffers in Gaffney and later was employed with Hospice Care of South Carolina as a CNA. Mrs. Gresham loved her family, enjoyed life, jokes and laughter. She found much joy working in her yard. Mrs. Gresham is survived by her daughter, Wanda G. Loftis and husband Freddy of Buffalo; a son, Wayne Gresham and wife Andrea of Union; granddaughters: Hailey Gresham and fiancée Mason Woodson and Jeri Alexis Gresham; grandsons: Brandon Tyler Gresham and wife Donielle, and Jerry Wayne Gresham, II; great-grandson, Brandon Colt Gresham and soon to be great-granddaughter; sisters: Annie B. Amick of Chester, Brenda B. Calvitt of Lexington and Mary B. McJunkins of Newberry; sister-in-law, Alice Bush of Newberry; brother, Randy "Jr" Bush of Silverstreet and multiple nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gresham was predeceased by siblings: Margaret Elizabeth Markee, Gladys Wilson, Ella Stevens, Curtis, Richard, John "Buddy", Marion and William Bush. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 3, 2016 at Newberry Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb and Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. Active pallbearers will be Mason Woodson, Tyler Gresham, Wayne Gresham, Michael McJunkins, Eddie Hearn and Michael Lindsey. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home and also Friday at the graveside following the service. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to caregivers: Debra Bradburn, Darlene Howell, Mitzy Fowler and Celeste West. The family will be at the home of Wanda and Freddy Loftis, 986 Meadow Woods Rd., Buffalo, SC 29321.
