Betty Bragg Howell

July 29, 2017 Mrs. Betty Jean Bragg Howell, age 56, of 605 Toney Rd., Union, SC passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Howell was born in Aiken, SC., June 9, 1961 a daughter of Ruby Brunson Bragg and the late Paul Bragg. She was formerly employed with United Merchants Buffalo Plant and a member of Glory Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her mother are two sisters, Judy Wells of Jonesville and Linda Rumph of Union; nieces and nephews: Terri Trantham, Tommy O'Shields, Richie Wade, Brandy Rochester, Brian Wells, Jr., Kimalee Wells, Ricky Wade, Kinsleigh Wade, Dusty Trantham, Kyle Trantham, Matthew O'Shields, Davis Rochester, Casey Leith, Janie Beth Trantham, Eli O'Shields, Thomas Trantham and Carter Trantham. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Glory Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Lee Franklin and Rev. Jonathan Shook. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. The following are asked to be Pallbearers: Tommy O'Shields, Jeff Trantham, Kyle Trantham, George Rumph, Brian Wells, Jr. and Richie Wade. Visitation will be held 2:30 until 4:00 PM at Glory Baptist Church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Glory Baptist Church, P.O. Box 178, Union, SC. The family is at the home of her niece, Brandy Rochester and husband Joshua, 100 Cedar St., Union, SC 29379.
