Betty Ruth Howell Morris

Mrs. Betty Ruth Howell Morris, age 88, of 755 Howell Rd., Jonesville, widow of Ernest Franklin "Boone" Morris, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Mrs. Morris was born April 30, 1930 in Union, a daughter of the late Browning Howell and Marie Gault Howell. She was a graduate of Kelly Pinckney High School and attended business school in Columbia. Mrs. Morris was a devoted homemaker and had previously been employed with Milliken & Co. She was an active member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church where she had served in various capacities. Her greatest joy in her latter years has been loving on her family, her church family, and taking care of her precious sister Mary Howell. Surviving are two daughters, Pam M. Brady and husband Lynn of Martin, GA, and Donna Manus and husband Mike of Jonesville; two sisters Mary Howell of the home and Sandy Mason and husband Charles "Sonny" Mason of Jonesville; four grandsons, Randy Manus and wife Amber, Wesley Manus and wife Amber, Taylor Morris Brady and wife Jordan, and Spencer Franklin Brady and wife Amanda; and nine great-grandchildren, J.R. Parker, Gabrielle Manus, Triston Manus, Kascie Manus, Maryashlee Manus, Gage Williams, Brady Manus, Will Henderson, and Bea Ruth Brady. She was predeceased by one sister, Barbara Ann Howell and one nephew, Jeff Mason. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Mt. Joy Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Alan West. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Randy Manus, Wesley Manus, Taylor Brady, Spencer Brady, Jon Mason, and Toney Farr. Visitation will be held 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be made to Mt.
