Betty Jo Fowler

Mrs. Betty Jo Fowler, age 93, widow of Ervin Fowler formerly of Forest St., Jonesville, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.

Mrs. Fowler was born in Asheboro, NC, March 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Alex David Blackwell and Fannie Garner Blackwell. She was a former seamstress having worked at Her Majesty and was a member of Jonesville Baptist Church. Mrs. Fowler was the last surviving member of thirteen children.

She is survived by a son, David Fowler and wife Jane of Union; two granddaughters, Lisa Cieslak and Jennifer Fowler both of Spartanburg, and several nieces and nephews including nephew, Jimmy Wilkins and wife Dianne of Jonesville.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Jonesville Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Wayne Cook. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
