Betty F. Linder

March 21, 2017 Mrs. Betty Fowler Linder age 77, formerly of Pacolet, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Mountain View Nursing Home in Spartanburg. Mrs. Fowler was born in Union Co., December 23, 1939, a daughter of the late Ernest Boyd Fowler and Bernice Gossett Fowler. She was a member of Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Surviving are two daughters, Sandy Threadgill and husband Winfred of Spartanburg, and Candy Rector and husband Ricky of Woodruff; a sister Martha Wells and husband Michell of Pacolet; two grandchildren, Jessica Wells and husband Richard of Spartanburg and Brandon Howell and wife Ashley of Rougemont, NC; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Montgomery United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Mack McDowell. Burial will be at Pacolet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Montgomery United Methodist Church, 160 Stone St., Pacolet, SC 29372. The family will be at their respective homes.
