Betty C. Stevens

Mrs. Betty Croxdale Stevens, age 89, of 103 Bennett St., Union, widow of Russell J. Stevens, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mrs. Stevens was born in Converse, February 2, 1933, a daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Walker Croxdale. She was a graduate of Cecil's Business College and a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Stevens enjoyed gardening and working in her yard.

Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Stevens of the home and Terri S. Robertson of Union; a granddaughter, Stacey Cochran and husband Chris of Jonesville and two great-granddaughters Taryn and Camryn Cochran. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Woody Robertson, two brothers and one sister.

Following Mrs. Stevens' wishes, no services will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mon Aetna Baptist Church, Food Pantry, 1431 Lockhart Hwy., Union, SC 29379 or to New Life Baptist Church, Building Fund, 502 Meansville Rd., Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home, 103 Bennett St., Union and at the home of Terri S. Robertson, 111 Jenkins St., Union.
