Beverly Monique Burgess

Mrs. Beverly Monique Childers Burgess, age 61, wife of Raymond Burgess, Sr. of 211 2nd St., Union, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at her home.

Mrs. Burgess was born in Hamilton, OH, May 23, 1964, a daughter of the late George Childers and Dorothy Reynolds Dawson. She was a graduate of Union High School and a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 43 years, Ray are a son, James Burgess and wife Christina of Lumberton, NC; a sister, Ann Gilkerson of Union; two brothers, Jerry Childers of Union and Paul Hawkins of GA; and grandchildren, Leilynn Burgess, Ethan Burgess and Kyra Burgess who is of the home. She is also survived by many other brothers and sisters in Ohio and Indiana. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jessica Burgess, and brothers, Alge Hawkins, Richard Hawkins, Bobby Worley and Bradley Hawkins.

A celebration of life service will be held graveside at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Fairforest Baptist Church cemetery conducted by Rev. Mark Truitt. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
