Beverly C. Russell, Jr.

Mr. Beverly Carradine Russell, Jr., age 70, husband of Lisa Snyder Russell of Jameson Dr., Roebuck, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at his home. Mr. Russell was born in Union, May 10, 1947, a son of the late Beverly C. Russell, Sr. and Gladys Virginia Lambright Russell. He was a graduate of Union High School and attended the University of South Carolina. Mr. Russell was a financial advisor having operated his own firm for many years. He also owned thirteen Jackson Hewitt Tax offices in the Upstate. He was an active member of the Republican Party. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Holley Abee of Lugoff, Lori Damron of Charleston and Tami Alman of Pauline; one son, John Matthew Russell of Inman; three step-sons, Chad Palmer of Atlanta, Ryan Palmer of Powdersville and Alex Palmer of Great Falls, Montana; six grand-children, Trey Newton, Christopher Abee, Jessica Abee, Lane McLeod, Morgan McLeod, Ansli Stanford; and five great-grandchildren, Delaney Newton, Buddy Newton, Colton Adams, Oakley Abee and Gracyn Duncan. Mr. Russell was predeceased by a sister, Lula Russell. Graveside services were held at 6:00 PM Friday, April 6, 2018, at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Curt Bradford. Active pallbearers were Lane McLeod, David Rogers, Chad Palmer, Alex Palmer, Ryan Palmer, Trey Newton, Nick Phillips and Jimmy Tate.
