Billy Joe Dyer, Jr.

January 25, 2019 Mr. Billy Joe Dyer, Jr., age 50, husband of Shannon Dyer, of 116 Meadow Lane, Buffalo, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Dyer was born March 14, 1968 in Union, a son of Jenny Adams of Jonesville. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and was formerly employed by DKC Logging. Mr. Dyer was a member of Foster's Chapel United Methodist Church. He loved playing high school sports, hunting, and fishing. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a daughter, Makayla Dyer and three sons, Devon Dyer, Cameron Dyer, and Cory Dyer. He was predeceased by a special cousin, Danny (Fred) Little. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 28, 2019 at Foster's Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Dustin Madala and Coach Pat Littlejohn. Honorary pallbearers will be, Dicky Fowler, Roy Lipsey, David Faucette, John Adams, Ken Adams, Jr., Will Prince, Jonathan Adams, and Jon Carter. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the church.
