Billy Fredrick Rochester

March 28, 2015 Mr. Billy Fredrick Rochester, age 64 of 144 Linson Drive, Pacolet, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 at his home. Mr. Rochester was born in Spartanburg, SC on June 26, 1950, a son of the late Ted Rochester and Mildred Cash Rochester. He was born again, by placing his trust in Jesus Christ, in February 2008. He was previously employed with Clarkson Electrical and was a member of Hammett Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Rochester was a Veteran of the US Army, having served in the Vietnam Era and was stationed in South Korea. Mr. Rochester is loved and survived by three sons: Billy Jack Rochester and wife, Shellie of Cowpens, Michael John Rochester and wife Ginny of Hephzibah, GA, and Bobby Rochester of Pacolet; a brother, Kenneth Rochester of Pacolet; a niece, Shellie Rochester Smith of Pacolet; two nephews, Kevin Rochester and David (Smiley) Rochester, all of Pacolet and seven grandchildren. Mr. Rochester was predeceased in death by a brother, Johnny Rochester and a grandson, Seth Rochester. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Hammett Grove Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Michael John Rochester. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Steve Bennett, Brian Rochester, Ray Rochester, Ricky Rochester, Steve Rochester and Jimmy Webb. Visitation will be held 12:00 PM - 1:45 PM Tuesday, in the church prior to the service. The family is at the home of his brother, Kenneth Rochester, 144 Linson Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372.
