Billy "Peewee" Wayne Humphries

Mr. Billy "PeeWee" Wayne Humphries, age 55, husband of Elizabeth Annette Campbell Humphries, passed away on October 30, 2025, in his home.

Mr. Humphries was born in Spartanburg, SC on June 6, 1970. He was a son of  Jimmy Wayne Humphries of Spartanburg and Linda Price Humphries of Moore. Mr. Humphries was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and worked with Moss Construction. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his wife of 33 years, Elizabeth, Mr. Humphres is survived by daughters, Brooke Lee and her husband Clint, Ashleigh Witt and her husband, Alex, all of Union and Autamn Humphries of Spartanburg, a son, Rusty Humphries and his wife Caitlyn of Union and brothers, James Humphies and his wife, Missy of Spartanburg and Frankie Humphries of Tennessee. He is also survived by grandchildren, Ethan, Caylee, Declan, Brentley, Bekett, Waylon, Destiny, Kaden and Nathan and a great grandchild, Jaxon. He leaves behind some special friends, Vicki and Rolph Toney, William, Larry, Shorty, Bart, Randy and Kim Erwin. Mr. Humphries was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie Humphries.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family wants to extend a special thank you to Cresent Hospice, Spartanburg Regional Hospice and to the SRMC Fourth Floor for their loving care for Mr. Humphries. They also want to issue a special thanks to Pastor Jack Taylor and his wife, Alice.
