Bobby "Red" Bolin

Mr. Bobby "Red" Bolin, age 68, husband of 31 years to Linda Jean Henderson Bolin of 103 Mills St., Buffalo, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mr. Bolin was born in Chester, July 15, 1954, a son of the late Stella McAbee Bolin Williams. He was a graduate of Chester High School and a retired 30 year EMT. Mr. Bolin worked with Gregory and Johnson Ambulance Service in Union and with Newberry County EMS. He was a former member of the Buffalo Fire Department. Mr. Bolin was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Michelle Patterson of Union; a son, Steve Patterson and wife Dawn of Sharon; a sister, Kathy Garner of Georgia and a brother, Kenneth Bolin of Columbia. He is also survived by grandchildren, Danielle Brown, Katie Kingsmore and husband Andrew, Gabrielle Boyd and husband Kyle, Noah West, A.J. Patterson and great-grandchildren, Adeline, Jackson, Beau Grady, and Jessie Boyd, and Kollins, Koleman, and Kolbie Kingsmore. He was predeceased by two sisters, Cindy Lee and Doretha Henderson.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Fairview Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jeff Dean and Rev. Andrew Kingsmore. The family will receive friends immediately following the services.
