Bobby Joe Hawkins

Mr. Bobby Joe Hawkins, age 74, of 259 Eaves Rd., Whitmire, widower of Mary Lou Matthews Hawkins passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mr. Hawkins was born in Union, August 7, 1946, a son of the late Albert Hawkins and Willie Mae Peigler. He was retired from Earnhart Saw Mill in Woodruff.

Surviving are three daughters, Joyce Sinclair of the home, Joanie Funderburk and Sarah Holden Moore both of Whitmire; a son, John Henry Holden of Whitmire and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren an great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Hawkins was predeceased by a sister, Margie Peigler and a brother Wilson Moseley.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

The family will be at the home, 259 Eaves Rd., Whitmire.
