Mr. Bobby Gene Keisler, age 86, of 503 Lakeview Heights, Union, widower of Carole Dean Mosley Keisler, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mr. Keisler was born December 20, 1932 in York, a son of the late Lawrance Keisler and Corrie Mitchell. He was a graduate of Union High School and retired as a supervisor at Buffalo Mill. Mr. Keisler was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Korean War Era as a Staff Sargent. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and Elder and was very active in the Channel of Blessings Ministry. Surviving are a daughter, Robin Ammons of Union; two sons, David Keisler and wife Edythe of Elgin and Rev. Neil Keisler and wife Dale of Pauline; a brother, William Keisler and wife Carole of Union; eight grandchildren, Derrick Keisler and fiancée Brittany, Chad Bailey and wife Heather, Marissa Keisler, Kristin Keisler, Cobee Keisler, Christopher Keisler, Jacob Keisler, and Jada Wyrich; and five great-grandchildren, Calli Keisler, Peyton Keisler, Jace Keisler, Bobby Maire Bailey, and Kylyn Clarke. He was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis Jean Keisler; a sister, Annie Mae Ruest; and three brothers, Leroy Mitchell, Fred Keisler, and Paul Keisler. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Neil Keisler. Active pallbearers will be David Keisler, Derrick Keisler, Chad Bailey, Chris Keisler, Jr., Bruce Keisler, Benji Keisler. Visitation will be immediately following the services at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, Channel of Blessings Ministry, 309 Barnado Road, Union, SC 29379.
