Bobby Thomas Moss

Mr. Bobby Thomas Moss, age 80, of 1390 Mudbridge Rd., Buffalo, widower of Joyce Heatherly Moss, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mr. Moss was born January 18, 1938 in Union, a son of the late Luther H. Moss and Agnes Foster Moss. He was retired from the S.C. Department of Corrections Cross Anchor Facility. Mr. Moss was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of West Springs Baptist Church and Duncan Masonic Lodge 256-Buffalo. Surviving are one daughter, Wanda Ferguson and husband Jim of Simpsonville; two granddaughters, Julia Harris Adams and husband Joe of Union and Meaghan McGinty of Simpsonville; two sisters-in-law, Frances Moss and Shirley Heatherly both of Union; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Harold Moss, Johnny Moss, and Glenn Moss and one sister, Carol Dean Smith. Graveside services with Masonic Rites will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 16, 2018 at West Springs Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Greg Black. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
