May 28, 2017 Mr. Brad Lee Lawson, age 38, husband of Jennifer Ivey Lawson of 801 Meadow Woods Rd., Buffalo passed away suddenly at his home, Saturday May 27, 2017. Mr. Lawson was born in Spartanburg, June 1, 1978 a son of the late Bruce Lawson and Linda Ford Lawson. He was a 1996 graduate of Union High School and a graduate of Spartanburg Technical College. He was employed with Davis Heating and Air of Spartanburg and was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Mr. Lawson was also a Shriner, a Mason, and coached Dixie Youth Baseball and Football. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, John Michael Ford Lawson and Bradley James McKinley Lawson, both of the home; two brothers, Brian Lawson and wife Angela of Buffalo and Rev. Chad Lawson and wife Stacy of Greenville; his maternal grandmother, Lena O'Shields Ford of Union; his in-laws, Mike and Paulette Ivey; a brother-in-law, Jason Ivey and wife Mandy all of Buffalo and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, May 29, 2017 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Melvin Shelton, Rev. Dr. Rick Henderson and Rev. Chad Lawson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Greg Hembree, Chad Farmer, Bobby Tucker, Matt Hudgins, Heath Gregory, Alan Harvey, Jesse Harvey, D.J. Briggs and Mark Carroll. Employees of Davis Heating and Air and along the ball team and coaches of D and S Land Surveyors are asked to sit in a group. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605-4277. The family will be at the home, 801 Meadow Woods Rd., Buffalo.
