Mr. Bradley Edward Mayo, age 33, of 118 Kelly Rd., Union, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at his home. Mr. Mayo was born in Spartanburg, SC on January 17, 1981 a son of Eddie Mayo and Julie White Foster. He was a 1998 graduate of Union High School and a graduate of USC - Upstate where he earned a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Mayo was previously employed as a Prevention Loss Officer with Wal-Mart in Spartanburg. He was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Jessica Foster of Union; a maternal grandmother, Shirley White of the home; a paternal grandmother, Clorice Mayo of Union; a niece, Savanna Grace Foster, of Union; three aunts Susan W. Randall, Marlene Sanders, and Lisa Leigh; two uncles Bruce Wayne White and Olin Dean White; several cousins, including, Connor Randall, Amber White, and Maggie White; and his beloved dog, Maddox. Mr. Mayo was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Olin Dewitt White and his paternal grandfather, Harold Edward Mayo, Sr. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 31, 2014 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb and Rev. Tommy Brown. Active Pallbearers will be Chris Callahan, Chris Fant, Dusty Hampson, Logan Sarvis, Todd Davis, Gregg Eaves, and Corey Small. Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family is at the home, 118 Kelly Rd., Union, SC 29379.
