Mr. Bradley Scott “Weavie” Weaver, age 56, husband of Amanda Kirby Weaver, of 146 Stevens Road, Buffalo, passed away Friday, October 9, 2026.
Brad was born March 4, 1970, a son of the late George Weaver and Linda Haney Weaver. A 1988 graduate of Union High School, he continued his education at the University of South Carolina Union and later at Spartanburg Community College, where he earned a degree in Mechatronics. He also earned a Locksmith Certificate from Strafford. Affectionately known as “Weavie” to his family and many friends, Brad was employed with ECO-Clean Water Spartanburg as a Wastewater Operator. He was an active member of the Masonic fraternity, belonging to Duncan Masonic Lodge No. 256, the Hejaz Shriners, the York Rite and Scottish Rite. He was Past Master of Duncan Masonic Lodge No. 256. Brad was also a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans of West Springs. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Jessica Weaver of Gaffney and Riley Kirby of the home; a brother, Greg Weaver and wife Lindzey of Union; three nephews, Bryson Weaver, Nathan Weaver, and Colton Weaver; a niece, Grace Tucker and husband AJ and their daughter, Serenity; a sister, Carolyn Tucker and husband Richard; two brothers, John Whitehead and wife Bonnie and David Whitehead and wife Kim; an uncle, Wesley Weaver and wife Letha of North Carolina; and an aunt, Barbara Haney of Texas. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth Weaver and a daughter, Dylan Weaver.
A celebration of life service with Masonic Rites, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Bill Randall and Mr. Matt Voiselle.
Members of the Duncan Masonic Lodge No. 256 are asked to sit in a group and form the honorary escort.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
