Brenda Jackson Berry

Mrs. Brenda Jackson Berry, age 79, of 164 Short St., Union, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Heartland of Union.

Mrs. Berry was born February 7, 1942, in Union, a daughter of the late Alonzo Shaird Jackson, Sr. and Ida Belle Keasler Jackson.  She was a graduate of Union High School and was retired from Wallace Thomson Hospital.  Mrs. Berry was an active member of Faith Community Church as long as her health permitted.  Her greatest joys were her son, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her precious church family.  Brenda will always be remembered for her unwavering love of her Lord and Savior, her beautiful singing voice and the love she had for everyone.

Surviving are a son, Jeffrey Lynn Berry and wife Donna of Union; five grandchildren, Blake Berry (Hannah and expectant great-grandchild), Regan Durham (Conner), Ryan Durham, Grant Berry, and Maggie Berry; two brothers, Alonzo Jackson, Jr. and Mike Jackson and wife Sherry all of Union; and one sister-in-law, Mary Jackson of Greenville.  She was predeceased by three brothers, Eugene "Butch" Jackson, Tommy Jackson, and Terry Jackson.

Memorial services will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Faith Community Church conducted by the Rev. Steven McAbee.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 until 12:30 PM Saturday, prior to the services at the church.

The family is at the home of her son, Jeff Berry and wife Donna, 299 Cambridge Dr., Union, SC 29379.
