Brenda L. Stone

Mrs. Brenda Nancy Lovings Stone, age 73, the widow of Robert Stone, formerly of Union Mill Hill passed away Friday November 1, 2024 in Gaffney.

Mrs. Stone was born in Union, August 22, 1951, a daughter of the late William Lovings Sr. and Estelle Parham Lovings. She was a member of the former Westside Baptist Church and had taught preschoolers Sunday School at Beaver Dam Baptist Church in Gaffney. She was first married to the late Woody Waldrop and was lovingly known as "Grammy" to her family and many friends alike.

Surviving are two daughters, Beth Waldrop Camp and husband Larry of Blacksburg, and Gayle Waldrop Moore and friend Joey Faulks of Union; two sisters, Ann Hall and husband Chris and Vickie Gwen Lovings all of Illinois, a sister-in-law, Kay Lovings of Oklahoma and her life-long friend, Linda Littlejohn of Union. She is also survived by grandchildren, Scott Moore, Jenna Bailey, Zane Moore, and Jayla Fulcher and husband Kenyon; great-granddaughters, Emory Alman and Violet Fulcher; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, William "Bill" Lovings, Roger Dale Lovings, Kenneth Lovings, Bruce Lovings and David Lovings.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, November 4, 2024 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by Rev. Rick Cook. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the services.

The family will be at their respective homes.
