Mr. Brian Hix Bobo, age 53 of 100 Jenkins St., Union, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Brian was born in Union, December 5, 1968, a son of the late Bennie Ray Bobo, Sr. and Ann Marie Lawson Bobo. He was a graduate of Union High School where he was a member of Mrs. Gloria Carwile's class and had previously worked at Union Services. Brian was a member of Mon Aetna Baptist Church. He was an avid Gamecock fan, Atlanta Braves fan and a Union Yellow Jacket fan. He enjoyed listening to music on WBCU radio and Whistle 100. He loved his God, his family and his community.

Surviving are a sister, Barbara Bobo; two brothers, Barry Bobo, with whom he made his home, and Bennie Bobo, Jr. and wife Peggy; two nephews, Benjamin Bobo and Kody Davis and great niece and nephew, Hayes Davis and Ellie Davis. Brian is also survived by many special friends including, Carrie Davis of Union and Bud Whitmire of Cross Keys.

The family wishes to say a special Thank You to Kindred Home Health nurses, Nikki Brannon and Jennifer Kimbrell for their love and care shown to Brian and his family.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, March 4, 2022 at Mon Aetna Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Jessie Pendergrass. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Allen Alexander, Benjamin Bobo, Phil Hobbs, Robbie Jett, Chris Turner, and Tom Adamo.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 3:00 Friday at the church prior to the services.

Memorials in memory of Brian, may be made to Special Olympics South Carolina, 109 Oak Park Dr., Irmo, SC 29063.

The family will be at their respective homes.
